Whiskey was a golden retriever adopted from the Montgomery County Humane Society who eventually made a D.C. liquor store his second home. He greeted everyone who walked through the door like they were the person he had been waiting for all day.
People came for a bottle. Plenty stayed for the company. Whiskey became the dog on ours, and the standard Stray Oak still tries to live up to.
