WAYS TO DRINK IT.
Simple recipes. Real ingredients. The bourbon does the heavy lifting.

MAN'S BEST
FRIEND.
Our house cocktail. Bourbon, honey, and a little heat. Built the way we like it.
Combine bourbon, lemon juice, honey syrup, and bitters in a shaker with ice. Shake until cold. Strain into a rocks glass over a large cube. Express the lemon peel over the drink, then drop it in.
The honey rounds out the 90 proof without hiding it. The bitters give it a backbone the Gold Rush doesn't have.
FOUR MORE GOOD REASONS.
OLD FASHIONED
The one that started it all. Sugar, bitters, bourbon. Nothing more.
Place sugar cube in a rocks glass. Saturate with bitters and a splash of water. Muddle until dissolved. Add bourbon and stir. Add a large ice cube. Express the orange peel over the glass, then rest it on the rim.
The caramel in the bourbon does most of the work. Keep it simple.
WHISKEY SOUR
Tart, balanced, and harder to mess up than you'd think.
If using egg white, dry shake all ingredients without ice first for 15 seconds. Then add ice and shake hard until cold. Strain into a coupe or rocks glass. Garnish with a cherry.
The egg white adds texture, not flavor. Try it both ways.
BOURBON & GINGER
The easiest good drink you can make.
Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in bourbon, top with ginger beer. Squeeze the lime wedge and drop it in. Stir once.
Use ginger beer, not ginger ale. The spice matters.
GOLD RUSH
Three ingredients. No garnish. Just right.
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until cold. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.

Or just pour it neat. Room temperature, no ice. Give it a minute. That's what we selected for.
